After a yummy breakfast at Waffles, we went to the Shedd Aquarium. Its setting is beautiful - it is situated right on Lake Michigan! At Charlie's request, we saw the sharks first and heard a brief "shark chat" about the aquarium's sharks. After the sharks, we headed to see the beluga whales - they were so beautiful! We then went to the aquatic show, where the dolphins stole the show! They were Jane Gray's favorite! The children also enjoyed touching starfish and watching the fish in the main aquarium being fed. The speaker at the feeding asked for questions, and Charlie asked how many animals live in the tank. The diver said there were over 300!
