Every October, we go to the Nichols-Boyd pumpkin patch for a hayride and to pick our pumpkins. Since the weather was perfect - there wasn't a cloud in the sky, and it wasn't too hot - we put on our boots and headed to Nichols-Boyd. We rode the hayride to the pumpkin patch. On the way, we saw some deer, a zedonk (half zebra, half donkey), several goats, cows, and donkeys, and a pond full of hungry catfish. When we got to the pumpkin patch, we picked our pumpkins, and the children played on some swings and in a hay maze. We then loaded our pumpkins on the hayride and headed home. We took some cute pictures outside the barn before we left - have you ever seen a cuter scarecrow, sunflower, or pumpkins?
