Neshoba County Fair

After church, we drove to the Neshoba County Fair. Our sweet neighbor Carter Smith's family has had a cabin for over 30 years and invited us to come see what all the fuss was about. Well, we LOVED the Fair. The weather was amazing (upper 70s/low 80s and overcast). We were greeted at the gate by two men who escorted us to the Smith cabin and from then on, everyone treated us like family. It was amazing! And, so fun! We saw the horse races, rode the carnival rides, petted every animal at the petting zoo, and hung out on porch swings throughout the fairgrounds. The children made themselves right at home, playing with every child they met and even pulling up chairs for themselves at the cabin across from the Smiths to listen to the bluegrass band. Charlie said that the Fair was more fun than the beach, which, in our family, says a lot! The last picture says a lot, too - Meg fell asleep in the stroller with a sucker in her mouth. We were exhausted after a fun-filled day at the Fair!
