The Willie Morris Library summer reading program culminated with a pizza party and puppet show. The puppet show was the Three Little Pigs. Meg was so enthralled with the puppets that she had to get a closer look! The pizza was yummy, but the kids (including Meg) were most impressed by the suckers! Jane Gray and Charlie also enjoyed receiving their prizes for completely their reading goals - Jane Gray "won" a book (
The Shoemaker Extraordinaire) and a ring, and Charlie a book (
Green Eggs and Ham) and sunglasses. I only got one picture of Charlie receiving his award because he was so fast (Paige Burke remarked at church last night that he is like Forrest Gump - always running!).
